PRE-REQUISITE 

  • Partners must attain Cisco SMB Specialization

HOW TO BECOME SELECT PARTNER 

There are *two exams for the Cisco Select Certification. 

  1. Introduction to Cisco Sales (ICS) 700-150 Exam
  2. Cisco Small and Medium Business Engineer (SMBE) 700-750 Exam

* These exams are not free.
* One individual can hold both roles.
* Select Certification has no Cisco Career Certification prerequisite, such as CCNA


Signup for two Pearsonvue Account with your company domain.

  1. One for Sales Representative
  2. One for Technical Representative


Level 3

PREMIER Partner


PRE-REQUISITE 

  • Partner must have a minimum of 2 unique certified Associate (or higher) full-time employees.
  • Any specialization (Except for the Environmental Sustainability Specialization, Core Security Specialization and the AI-Ready Infrastructure Solution Specialization.)
  • Valid Partner Agreement in place
  • Customer service 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
  • One-hour call back
  • Pre-Sales Support
  • Post-Sales Support based on Partner Support Agreement


Level 4

GOLD Partner


PRE-REQUISITE 

1. Specialization Requirements

Partner must have at least 4 specializations, including:
  • 1 of below
    • Customer Experience Specialization
          • or
    • Advanced Customer Experience Specialization
  • and any 3 of these:
    • Advanced Collaboration Architecture Specialization
    • Advanced Enterprise Networks Architecture Specialization
    • Advanced Security Architecture Specialization
    • Advanced Service Provider Architecture Specialization
    • Advanced DevNet Specialization
  • Any Solution Specialization(s)*
    • * Small and Medium Business Specialization, Core Security Specialization & AI-Ready Infrastructure Solution Specialization excluded.

2. Certification Requirements 

  • Partner must have a minimum of 12 unique Associate, Professional, or Expert certified full-time employees,
    • of which 4 or more must have
    • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
          • or
    • 50% of the CCIE requirement may be met with Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
  • No more than 4 can qualify using one of these:
    • Selling Business Outcomes (SBO)
    • Adopting the Cisco Business Architecture Approach (DTBAA)
    • Introduction to Cisco Sales (ICS)

This may be counted towards the total:

    • Cisco Customer Success Manager (DTCSM)

General Meaning: "Practice maturity" describes how effectively an organization defines, manages, and improves its processes or a particular practice, such as project management.

Practice Maturity provide guidance on how you are doing as a partner.

  • Profitability.


Each practice has its own dedicated area to view more granular data on your performance in that practice.
Please note, while Bookings has its own dedicated area, a scorecard is not provided, since partners are not scored on their bookings performance.

The bottom of the page includes a scorecard for each practice area. 

  • Metric : Calculated value of your Metric associated with the measurement.​
  • Health : Health of your performance with the measurement, on a scale from 1 to 10.​
  • Growth: How much your Health score has grown or declined from the previous fiscal month.​
